SAN DIEGO — The California construction industry law firm of Finch, Thornton & Baird, LLP today announced that partner Chad T. Wishchuk has been unanimously approved for election to the 2019 Board of Directors of the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) San Diego Chapter. Mr. Wishchuk has been an active ABC-SD member for many years and presents frequently to the construction industry association’s membership on topics including skilled and trained workforce, apprenticeship, and new California employment laws.

Mr. Wishchuk is an experienced litigator and advisor who works with business owners and principals, executive management, human resources managers, and in-house counsel on a wide range of labor and employment matters. The firm’s construction industry clients include general contractors, subcontractors, and sureties. Beyond the construction field, clients include companies in banking and finance, food and beverage, hospitality and tourism, manufacturing, transportation, healthcare, and technology.
Mr. Wishchuk began his career in 1996 with a Philadelphia-based law firm specializing in labor and employment and construction law, where he gained significant experience representing management in a predominantly union construction arena. Since joining Finch, Thornton & Baird, LLP in 2001, Chad has been on the legal forefront of California’s fast-changing labor and employment laws.
Mr. Wishchuk is also a member of the St. Gregory The Great School Board.
