San Diego based, AV-rated, Construction and Business Law Firm with emphasis in Real Estate, Public Works Construction seeks the following:

The successful candidate(s) will help serve the firm’s clients with real property leases, purchase and sale transactions, corporate governance and business transactions, including purchases, sales, mergers, and shareholder agreements. Firm clients include NYSE listed public companies and startups, and those in between. The firm represents businesses for individual matters or throughout the life of their business, including private securities offerings, compliance, mergers and acquisitions, trademark and intellectual property, real estate, teaming, purchase agreements and more. Duties include drafting and review of a broad range of agreements; leases; and guidance on business formation, operation, and governance. Clients include real estate developers, property owners, general contractors, subcontractors, registered investment advisors, and a rich mix of both large and small businesses, investors, and lenders. The firm’s law clerk/summer associate program is its primary source of new associates.  Law clerks are generally hired in the fall of each year for the upcoming summer.  Positions are also available part-time during the academic year.  Law clerks are given substantial opportunities to participate in trial preparation, strategy and briefing, transactional matters from inception through closing, and appellate briefing.

The firm pays a bar stipend to summer associates accepting offers to join the firm upon graduation.  The firm regularly hires at least two attorneys per year, so the summer program is an excellent opportunity to be considered for a post-bar career.  Sixteen of the firm’s lawyers are graduates of these programs.
