Erica Castillo leads marketing and business development at Finch, Thornton & Baird, LLP. Collaborating closely with the firm administrator and management committee, she drives firm-wide marketing strategies while developing tailored growth initiatives for individual attorney practices. Her day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing marketing and ad campaigns, digital media, public relations, and client-facing communications.

A key driver of the firm’s growth and industry relationships, Erica advances market engagement through strategic sponsorships, high-impact events, and development of client engagement seminars. She cultivates vital relationships with the firm’s clients, business associations, and nonprofit partners. This includes leading collaborative initiatives with the San Diego chapters of the Associated General Contractors (AGC), Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) and Feeding San Diego, just to name a few.

Originally from Sacramento, Erica leverages 20 years of diverse experience across state and local government, nonprofits, and entrepreneurship as a business owner. Deeply rooted in the legal sector, her foundational experience includes serving as a paralegal and a marketing and operations manager for civil litigation firms.
