Alan Abbey leads firm-wide efforts in all matters pertaining to eDiscovery.  His oversight encompasses the following areas:

e-Discovery Planning and Design

  • Collaborate with legal teams to effectively develop and implement eDiscovery plans, including identification of documents, collection, processing, and document productions;
  • Liaise with legal team regarding eDiscovery protocols and production specifications;
  • Strategize eDiscovery solutions for a variety of litigation matters.

e-Discovery Execution

  • Manage and administer in-house eDiscovery software platform, including attorney training;
  • Perform all eDiscovery workflow tasks, including data collection, processing, production, and quality control;
  • Data troubleshooting;
  • Administer complex data;
  • Ensure eDiscovery best practices are implemented and followed, while taking ownership of all eDiscovery workflow tasks.

Thanks to excellent technical, communication, and organizational skills, Alan thrives under pressure while still delivering accurate, quality work product.  Alan works closely with his attorneys and clients alike to ensure that goals and expectations are not only met, but exceeded.  His attorney team routinely presents before California Superior Courts, California Courts of Appeal, and United States District Courts.
