Firm Welcomes New Attorneys, Marie Hulen and Thomas Barajas

SAN DIEGO — The California construction industry law firm of Finch, Thornton & Baird, LLP is pleased to announce the addition of attorneys Marie M. Hulen and O. Thomas Barajas to its legal team.  (The good news, see photo above, that they had passed the California State Bar came during the firm’s annual Bar Passage Celebration in mid-November.)

MARIA M. HULEN, ESQ.

Attorney Marie M. Hulen practices in the firm’s construction law group that focuses on claims and disputes, collection remedies, contract requirements, and other construction-related litigation and transactions for general contractors, owners, developers, specialty subcontractors, and material suppliers.  Ms. Hulen received her juris doctor, with a concentration in civil litigation, from University of San Diego School of Law.  She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from University of San Diego, from which she graduated cum laude.

O. THOMAS BARAJAS, ESQ.

Attorney O. Thomas Barajas practices in the firm’s construction law group that focuses on public and private works construction litigation, and review of prime contracts and subcontracts.  The group works with companies of all sizes, including both public and private, as well as with individuals, on a variety of business disputes and general civil litigation issues.  Mr. Barajas received his juris doctor from University of San Diego School of Law, from which he graduated cum laude.  He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, plus a minor in Spanish, from California State University San Marcos, from which he graduated summa cum laude.
