Firm Welcomes Mariah Emmons, Matthew Seeley, and Jacob Ragan

SAN DIEGO — The construction industry law firm of Finch, Thornton & Baird, LLP is pleased to announce the addition of three new associate attorneys: Mariah K. Emmons, Matthew D. Seeley, and Jacob P. Ragan.

MARIAH K. EMMONS, ESQ.

Attorney Mariah Emmons practices in business and commercial litigation and transactions, as well as in areas of construction law including local agency, municipal, and state contracts; federal procurement and claims; and real estate.  Ms. Emmons received her juris doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law, where she was a member of the Business Law Society.  She received her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Economics, and Law from the University of Arizona, from which she graduated magna cum laude.

MATTHEW D. SEELEY, ESQ.

Attorney Matthew (Matt) Seeley practices construction law including claims and disputes, federal procurement and claims, prime contracts and subcontracts, and real estate, as well as general business and commercial litigation and transactions.  Mr. Seeley received his juris doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law, from which he graduated magna cum laude and was made a member of the Order of the Coif.  He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Washington where he was a National Society of Collegiate Scholars award recipient.

JACOB P. RAGAN, ESQ.

Attorney Jacob (Jake) Ragan practices construction law including claims and disputes; local agency, municipal, and state contracts; federal procurement and claims; prime contracts and subcontracts; and real estate, as well as general business and commercial litigation and transactions.  Mr. Ragan received his juris doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law, from which he graduated magna cum laude and was made a member of the Order of the Coif.  He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University, Monterey Bay, from which he also graduated magna cum laude.
