Finch, Thornton & Baird, LLP today announced its pledge to the University of San Diego School of Law to commit $25,000 over five years to the scholarship in the firm’s name. Created in 2016, the Finch, Thornton & Baird, LLP Scholarship is awarded to a student with background in building, construction, engineering, or architecture. Law student Scott P. Leimgruber was the first recipient.
The University of San Diego School of Law is a special place to many here. In excess of 70% of the firm’s partners and associates earned their juris doctor degree at USD. Many of the firm’s legal secretaries received their paralegal certificates from USD, too.
