Client homeowner retained a general contractor to perform a remodel of client’s home. During the remodel, the general contractor employed unlicensed subcontractors who negligently constructed and damaged the home. The general contractor also made fraudulent representations to the client about the construction of the remodel and timeline for completion.

When they returned home, they found the general contractor had further severely damaged the home and violated applicable safety codes. The client fired the general contractor and retained a new contractor to make repairs and complete the project.
The client retained the firm to sue the former contractor for the cost of repairs and completion of the home remodel. The firm diligently pursued litigation and successfully recovered for the client all costs from the former contractor.
