The firm represented a general engineering contractor in claims against a California City for delay to a hard bid public works project resulting from a differing site condition (large undisclosed utility vault in the way of new storm drain improvements). Through an early mediation process, the firm recovered extended general conditions and home office overhead for the client, based on differing site conditions preventing work from progressing as planned.
