Design Build Contractor v. State DOT

The firm represented a design-build contractor in arbitration concerning cost overruns and delay arising out of the state’s failure to procure land necessary for construction of a key element of the project.  The case was arbitrated before a three-arbitrator panel.  After 15 witnesses over nine hearing days, the panel rule in favor of the firm’s client, awarding a total of $3.25 million.
